Место соединения слегка угадывается по едва заметному шву по границе двух деревянных частей. Это место вскрыто какой-то блестящей и застывшей массой, типа столярного клея. На функциональность это никак не влияет, ствол трости прочный, крепкий, без деформация, люфтов и т. п. Я полагаю, это не реставрация, не ремонт, а изначальная оригинальная конструкция трости.

Длинная трость - длина 91 см. На набалдашнике, сделанном из серебра, набор пробирных клейм города Лондона за 1925 год. Имеется именное клеймо ювелира, но затёрто, атрибутировать не имею возможности.
Лаковое покрытие с утратами, под чёрным лаком видно какое-то тропическое (насколько я могу судить) красное дерево. Набалдашник тоже видал виды, весь покрыт вмятинками, следами былых приключений владельцев предмета.
