It is dedicated to one of the significant holidays of Orthodoxy - the Annunciation, which is celebrated on April 7.
Obverse of the coin above depicts the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the inscription in a semicircle - NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, in the center - a stylized salary of the Gospel, to the left and right of which - lilies associated with the Virgin Mary, and there are inscriptions: 5 UAH; coin issue year - 2008 (below) and the logotype of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the reverse of the coin there is a multi-figure composition - the first spring round dance, above - the scene of the Annunciation and in a semicircle on the right there is an inscription: ANNUNCIATION.
