In the Transcarpathian region, a large find was shown – a gold artifact weighing 544 g. This ancient decoration is a torc, which was discovered in the Malokopan sacred complex. The gold content is very high and is 94.52%. After the analysis, scientists believe that Transylvanian and Ural gold was used in the manufacture of the torc.

The decoration was divided into parts, the fragments were located on an area of about 70 m. This is probably due to an ancient ritual performed during the burial of the owner of the product. The basis of the artifact is a Dacian torc, consisting of four gold rods with a diameter of 10 mm, intertwined with each other. The ends of the object are made in the form of a hemisphere with a protrusion and a lock hole. Now the decoration is stored in the Transcarpathian Regional Museum of Local Lore.
