Every war ends sooner or later, there comes a time of peace and restoration. After the Second World War, Europe experienced a difficult, but important period of unification, which dragged on for several decades. It seemed that the civilized world would no longer see war, and the results of the destructive actions of the aggressor could be learned from textbooks and photographs. However, recent months have shown that not all culturally developed states have actually turned out to be such. And the artillery cannonade sounded, again people are dying, cities are being destroyed.

When peace returns to Ukraine, it must be preserved and appreciated by all means. Let these photos be a reminder that the destroyed cities will surely be rebuilt and filled with life. Kyiv, on the streets of which terrible explosions were heard 80 years ago, has turned into a flourishing capital of independent Ukraine. And no bombs, no missiles will change that.

Kharkov, through the streets of which Nazi tanks drove, is again experiencing tragic events, and this time it is attacked by those who yesterday called themselves friend and brother. Kharkiv will be completely restored, will begin to live a new life.

The enemy cannot reach Odessa in any way with manpower, and insidiously fires from a distance. Let's believe that our defenders will beat off all attacks, protecting the inhabitants of the city and the architectural heritage, which has survived terrible wars more than once.

And the hand of the invader reached Lvov. The largest city in western Ukraine was destroyed during the Second World War. And during these months, smoke could be seen over the city over the roofs of houses - a sign that the occupier is trying to seize as much as possible with his own hands. However, victory will be for Ukraine, and all the insidious plans of the enemy will perish with him. And the war will remain only in the photographs as a memory of what should never be repeated.
