On the night of May 15, the whole world, with bated breath, awaited the results of the Eurovision 2022 international music contest, which took place in Turin. When the hosts of the show announced the winner,
the hearts of Ukrainians and all those who supported our country beat several times faster from overwhelming emotions.

For the third time for the entire time of participation, Ukraine received gold. The Kalush Orchestra team, which brought us victory, performed the song Stefania, which harmoniously combines such musical trends as hip-hop and folk. The soloist of the group Oleg Psyuk dedicated an energetically powerful track to Ukrainian mothers, whose main task now is to save children.

The group's performance, accompanied by laconic but spectacular graphics, was received with great enthusiasm by the audience. By the way, even at the stage of the qualifying round, bookmakers predicted high scores for Ukraine.

Significant for the Ukrainian people and the whole world was the unexpected address of Oleg Psyuk on the air. Despite the ban on political statements, the soloist of the Kalush Orchestra called on people to support Mariupol and Azovstal.

This slogan was extremely risky, since such actions threaten disqualification. But the frontman was not afraid of the consequences, because the main thing today is the salvation of people from the occupied territories and peace in Ukraine. Fortunately, the organizers of the competition regarded this statement as a humanitarian, and not a political gesture.

Soloist of the Kalush Orchestra Oleg was able to draw public attention to the Ukrainian tragedy. According to Google, search queries for Azovstal have skyrocketed. And this is very important to us. The world needs to know what is happening in Ukraine because of russian atrocities.

Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky said he would do everything possible to make the next Eurovision Song Contest take place in the hero city of Mariupol.

Ukraine is proud of its results. But the most important achievement of Ukraine will be the victory over russia.
