Bonistics is the field of collecting banknotes. banknotes and securities. And today we want to present an excellent example, which is almost 100 years old.
These are 3 chervonets of the USSR issued in 1924
. There are two types of these banknotes. Containing 4 signatures of officials of the State Bank (G.L. Pyatakov, Z.S. Katsenelenbaum, G.M. Arkus, V.V. Sher) and 5 signatures (A.L. Sheinman, Z.S. Katsenelenbaum, N. Petrusev, D.D. Mikhelman, V.V. Sher), which was sold on Violiti. The banknote is one-sided, the watermark repeats that on state credit notes of the 1866 model with a face value of 3 rubles. Chervonets as a monetary unit of the State Bank was introduced in 1922 (chervonets of the RSFSR) to stabilize monetary circulation and had a solid backing of gold and other assets. Its rate at the Soviet sign, which by its nature was a treasury note, was set daily. In 1924, new banknotes in chervonets of the State Bank of the USSR were put into circulation. In the same year, the chervonets began to be quoted on world exchanges. Chervonets applied to the USSR before the monetary reform of 1947.
