In our last article, we presented the most interesting coin George IV double sovereign , but the most popular and obligatory for investors in British coins is a coin of the same denomination issued in reign of Queen Victoria . We have already talked about Queen Victoria and the coins issued during her reign. The Queen reigned from 1837 to 1901 and her numismatic legacy is so extensive that many British coin collectors only collect Victorian coins. But no less extensive was its influence on the history of Europe and its monarchical dynasties. Married to her husband Albert, she had 9 children. Her numerous grandchildren were married to representatives of many of the ruling families of Europe, including the royal family. The importance that Queen Victoria and Victorian England had on the history of Europe and the rich numismatic heritage that the era left make the coins of this period invariably attractive to collectors and investors who can purchase them at section .
