NBU votes for the best commemorative coin of 2021
The National Bank of Ukraine is holding a competition related to the selection of the best coin of 2021. The selection will be made in three nominations.
The competition is attended by commemorative coins that were officially put into circulation by the National Bank of Ukraine in the period from January 1 to December 31, 2021. This year this event will be held in one stage and provides for open voting in three nominations.
In each nomination - "The best disclosure of the topic", "The best artistic solution" and "The most popular coin", one, several coins or a set of coins can win. However, a coin of the same denomination can only be listed in one nomination.
Lyubov Androshchuk, Vladimir Demyanenko, Svyatoslav Ivanenko, Andrey Ermolenko, Alexander Kuzmin, Marina Kuts, Oksana Oboznenko, Natalya Fandikova, Vladimir Taran, Alexander Kharuk, Sergey Kharuk, Oleg Shuplyak, Vladislav Yarovoy will compete for the victory among the authors of commemorative coin designs 2021.
Voting for the best coin of 2021 will last two weeks - from June 20 to July 04, 2022. To take part, you need to vote for the nominee in the online questionnaire posted on the NBU website. Or send an already completed application form to the address indicated on the official website of the agency. The voting results will be published on the website of the National Bank.
Recall that a similar competition has been held in Ukraine annually since 2005.
Representatives of the department ask all connoisseurs of numismatics, if possible, to take part in the voting and choose together the best commemorative coins of the past year.
Commemorative coins of Ukraine of different years of issue, dedicated to various events, are presented in the subsection of the Violity website “Coins of Ukraine. Medals and tokens of the NBU of Ukraine”.
