We continue to introduce African bullion coins. Our last article was devoted to the coin of Katanga , which was never able to win independence. This article is about the coin of Equatorial Guinea . This country is located in the Gulf of Guinea on the island of Bioko and on the continent. Equatorial Guinea is the only country in Africa that was a colony of Spain. It is logical that the coin is dedicated to a beautiful work of Spanish painting, a painting by Francisco Goya, commissioned by Manuel Godoy at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Modern investment coins from different countries made of gold, platinum and palladium can be found in this section section .
