Star support for Ukraine continues: the actor from the Game of Thrones put up for auction a statuette of King Joffrey Baratheon
Irish actor Jack Gleason, like the majority of the civilized creative community, supports Ukraine. It is doubly encouraging that he decided to help purchase a thermal imager for the Armed Forces.

Gleason put up for auction a statuette of King Joffrey Baratheon, whose image was embodied in the cult TV series Game of Thrones. However, he not only planned to simply sell this symbolic item, but also hand it over to the winner personally.

The actor explains the sale of the figurine and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the fact that he cannot stay away from what is happening in the world. He understands and is very supportive of the Ukrainians, speaks warmly of his Ukrainian colleagues. And even promised to come to Ukraine personally.
On February 15, the charity lot was sold for UAH 31,000.

The series "Game of Thrones" was created based on the cycle of novels "A Song of Ice and Fire" by writer George R.R. Martin. The first episode aired in the spring of 2011. With 161 Emmy nominations over eight seasons, Game of Thrones' final season was presented with a record 32 nominations in 2019.
