The largest and oldest: a collection of Apple equipment from 1977-2008 is up for sale
This collection is actually considered the largest and one of the oldest. After all, more than 500 exhibits of equipment included in this collection were created between 1977 and 2008. Vintage Apple computers will be sold at an auction in California on March 30, 2023.

The owner of this collection was the late Swiss teacher and entrepreneur Hanspeter Luzi. He devoted almost 50 years to his gathering.

Among the most interesting exhibits is the 1983 Lisa I computer, which was the first personal computer with a graphical user interface. Unfortunately, however, it was a commercial failure — only about 10,000 units were sold. And not so many models have survived to this day.
As for other devices, they were more affordable in the past. For example, the 1986 Apple Macintosh Plus computer complete with keyboard and mouse, the 2001 "Blue Dalmatian" special edition of the now iconic iMac G3.

Apple fans may be interested in the 1994 Apple QuickTake 100 camera, which is considered one of the first commercially successful digital camera lines.
Also a 1983-1984 Apple Joystick for Apple IIE or IIC computer systems in original packaging and an original 1979-1983 Summagraphics MacTablet, one of the first commercially available graphics tablets.

It is noted that the auction will be held on March 30. And it will be held online. In the meantime, you can get acquainted with the exhibits of the Luzi collection at the exhibition, which will last from March 27 to 30.
