The giant creature, which in the past lived arbitrarily on the planet, will become an exhibit of the collection. The fossilized skeleton of a tyrannosaurus, called TRX-293 Trinity, is set to be sold at auction for an amount ranging from 5 to 8 million Swiss francs.
The dimensions of this prehistoric lizard are also impressive — 3.9 meters in height and 11.6 meters in length. This is the third T-Rex skeleton put up for auction in the world and the first in Europe.
Also interesting is the fact that this skeleton consists of three individuals, and all of them were found on the territory of the United States. It has 293 bones, and its estimated age reaches 67 million years.
According to the statement of experts from the Aathal Dinosaur Museum in Switzerland, such finds are considered extremely rare. It is not a cast or a copy, it is an original. In the period up to 1970-1980, about 10 such dinosaurs were found, and most of them are already in museums in the United States.
The auction will be held in Zurich in mid-April. And the auctioneers predict that this skeleton will add to someone's private collection. What do you think?
