On April 14, 2023, Ohio-based Auktionhaus Neue Auctions will offer a collection of 133 items from the American Civil War and Founding Period. All items are new to market and have been in the Heritage Collection for over 30 years. Among the lots will be antique rifles, swords, police passes, glasses and a model Huron ship.

One of the most interesting items in the auction is a silver peace medal with different images of Indians and an eagle on the obverse and reverse, respectively, estimated at $1,000-$2,000.

Other items up for auction include an 1863 Colt Civil War rifle musket with sideplate engraving, trigger, steel ramrod and burl cut walnut, estimated at $2,000-$3,000, as well as an Unofficial Regulation Infantry Officer's Sword circa 1840-1850 by J.H. Lambert of Philadelphia with nitrile on engraved blade, with leather handle and wire wrap, 29 inches long, estimated at $900-$1,200.

Also worth noting is Potter Studio's hand-forged police pass badge, numbered 2081, hand-engraved. The sign is in very good condition and is part of Cleveland history.

The model of the ship The Huron completes the list of bright exhibits. It measures 14 inches tall and 20 inches long,
and the estimated value is between $100 and $1000.
