Unopened and first: first-generation iPhone sold in the US for over $30,000

Unopened and first: first-generation iPhone sold in the US for over $30,000
An unopened Apple smartphone went under the hammer at one of the American auctions. For the first generation iPhone, they paid $35, 414.

The first generation smartphone was released in 2007. The start of prices for such equipment began at $499.

It is noted that this device has never been opened since the purchase. In many ways, this circumstance explains the high price of the lot. Connoisseurs of unpacked goods like to make similar purchases. And they are not even deterred by the fact that these are not limited products.

Along with the iPhone, the unpacked iPod, which was released in 2001, was put up for sale.

It is believed that the attractiveness of such lots for buyers of Apple technology will only grow over time. In a couple of generations, it will be worth tens of thousands of dollars, turning into a good investment.
