House from hit TV series "The Brady Bunch" sold for $3.2 million
The Brady Bunch is an American comedy television series that aired on ABC from September 26, 1969 to March 8, 1974. Robert Reed, Florence Henderson and Anne B. Davis starred in the show, which was about a widowed father with three sons who marries a widow with three daughters.
The home made famous by The Brady Bunch is now owned by a true fan of the show who paid $3.2 million for it. Viewers have loved this house since its debut on screens in September 1969. They still collect merchandise featuring Mike and Jen Brady and their children: Greg, Marcia, Peter, Jan, Bobby and Cindy. Now one fan has acquired perhaps the most important artifact: Marcia Brady's house, as it appeared on the show, both inside and out.

The series' interior scenes were filmed in a studio, but exterior shots used a real house in the North Hollywood area of Los Angeles. The Brady House is said to be the second most popular home in America after the White House.
HGTV purchased the home for $3.5 million in 2018. In 2019, as the show celebrated its 50th anniversary, the actors who played the six Brady children reunited for a limited remake of the series, in which they collaborated with HGTV stars and builders to restore the house to the original look.

The home was listed for sale in May 2023 at a price of $5.5 million. It was sold at a loss for $3.2 million to art collector Tina Trahan.

Danny Brown, the listing agent, told TVLine that it was "impossible to account for similar sales ," acknowledging that "this is not a home that anyone has ever lived in . " The sale price was determined based on HGTV's costs to purchase and restore the home. The chain will donate a portion of the proceeds to No Kid Hungry.
