LEGO Releases Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones 20th Anniversary Set
In a galaxy far, far away, fans of the iconic Star Wars franchise are gearing up for the release of a new LEGO set celebrating the 20th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.

This is a new scale model of the star cruiser Venator, which belongs to the LEGO Ultimate Collector series. It will take up a lot of space to assemble and then place, as this is the third largest set in the Star Wars line.

5374 parts, 109 cm long — that's 50 cm more than the 2009 version of the cruiser. The set will include 2 exclusive figures: Admiral Yularen and Captain Rex.
It should be recalled that "Star Wars. Episode II. Attack of the Clones" is the fifth film in the year of release, but chronologically it is the second film in the "Star Wars" film saga. The premiere of the picture took place on May 16, 2002.

The film tells the story of the crisis that occurred in the Galactic Republic after some solar systems expressed their desire to leave the union. About the existing separatist movement, led by the former Jedi - Count Dooku. With his actions, the scoundrel shakes the far from stable peace in the galaxy. At this time, the Senate of the Republic is planning to vote on the creation of an army, where the Queen of Naboo - Padme - is going.
On the way, she is assassinated, and then Chancellor Palpatine decides to attach two Jedi guards to her - Obi-Wan Kenobi and the already adult and faithful Anakin Skywalker. On the same day, they try to kill Padme again, and then the Jedi decide to split up: Anakin stays to guard the queen, and goes with her to the planet Naboo, while Obi-Wan begins to investigate the attempt. And it is in such difficult times that the love between Anakin and Padme is born.

Celebrating important dates in the world of cinema has become a regular thing for the LEGO manufacturer. However, each set continues to impress collectors of movie paraphernalia and connoisseurs of LEGO offerings.

The new product will go on sale on October 1 and will cost $650 in the US.
