It is believed that the little-known architect and the devil made an agreement according to which the former will receive an amazing bridge, and the latter will take the soul of whoever wants to cross the stone structure to the other side of the river first. The architect agreed, but outwitted the devil by sending a black cat across the bridge first.

Locals believe that anyone who sails a boat under the Rakotzbrücke bridge during a full moon will receive supernatural powers. At the same time, you cannot touch the water with your hands or look at your reflection.

The disappearance of two Swedish tourists in the forest in 1983, who were last seen just near the Rakotzbrücke bridge, is also associated with supernatural phenomena.

Rakotzbrücke Bridge is not just a bridge connecting two points, but as a symbol of human creativity that organically merges with the natural world.
