Chevrolet K5 Blazer: a Hollywood legend's SUV is being sold in the USA
A 1970 Chevrolet Blazer that once belonged to famous Hollywood actor Steve McQueen is up for sale at Mecum Auctions in the United States. The car has undergone restoration and has hardly been used in recent decades.

Steve McQueen, in addition to being an outstanding actor, was a racing driver and a car collector. His garage was a true artifact for fans of the four-wheeled world. There you could find not only classic sports cars such as the Ferrari 275, Jaguar XKSS, Ford GT40, Porsche 911 and 917, but also a variety of motorcycles.
McQueen also had his own rally team. It was for his team that he bought a Chevrolet Blazer K5, which was used to tow trailers with cars for the race. This Blazer, despite its practicality and functionality, served a collector's role in McQueen's fleet.

However, in 1971 he sold the car, and the new owner was Bob Bianchi, who owned it until 2022. Subsequently, the car fell into the hands of a collector who restored it.
Years later, the Blazer K5 is up for sale with 131,000 miles and a comprehensive restoration. And a few words about its technical component. The 1970 Chevrolet Blazer is equipped with a 5.7-liter V8 producing 255 horsepower. and 3-speed automatic transmission. The package includes air conditioning and front disc brakes.
