After specialist research, it turned out that Buffy and her husband found a miniature golden Bible, the approximate age of which is about 600 years.
To be honest, reading this news, I did not believe until the last that it is so easy to find an ancient artifact in the forest. It turned out that I was right. In her free time from work, the woman liked to walk with a metal detector. Here, as she claims, at a depth of 10-15 cm, she found a “shiny thing”.
This subject turned out to be unexpectedly interesting. Despite its small size, about 0.5 inches, it contained incredibly complex engravings of a man and a woman. Specialists analyzing the find suggest that these are images of Saints Leonard and Margarita, patrons of childbirth.
The presence of a small hole in the upper part indicates that the find was used as a pendant or bead.
It is also very remarkable that the ornament was found near the former lands of King Richard III. Therefore, it is possible that the miniature could belong to the monarch himself or someone close to him.
