A rare supercar was put up for auction in America
Continuing the topic of selling rare cars, this news simply could not be ignored. The 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider was offered at the American auction by Gooding&Company. And the price for which they plan to sell the car is also impressive — it varies from 18 to 20 million dollars.

This car belongs to one of the most expensive models of the Italian brand, so, according to the auction website, it is difficult to find a similar exhibit at a price less than 10 million dollars.

It is interesting that this convertible was created specifically for the American market. And it is also important that the Ferrari 250 GT California Spider was produced in a limited series of only 106 cars. Of them, 55 cars were in the shortened version of SWB.

And the technical characteristics of this "beast" are also impressive - a high-revving 3.0-liter V12 with a capacity of 260 hp. and a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car was able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 8 seconds and reach a speed of up to 260 km/h.
What about this supercar, you ask? What made him so distinguished? It was this car that was on display at the New York Auto Show, and all of its owners were from California. Also, this cabriolet was a multiple prize-winner of various retro festivals.
