Three more paintings! The identification of paintings stolen by the Russians from the Kherson Art Museum continues
Against the backdrop of human casualties and the destruction of civilian infrastructure, information about the looting of museums is increasingly appearing. This especially applies to temporarily occupied territories. Three more paintings stolen from the Kherson Art Museum by the Russians were recently identified.

The Russian invaders took away the works "Ukrainian Anna Struck" by Viktor Zaretskyi, "Still Life with Flounder" by Mykola Hlushchenko and "Portrait of M. Cheetah" by Felix Kider.

These artists are known for their work not only on the territory of Ukraine, but also abroad.

Viktor Zaretsky is called the Ukrainian Klimt, because he is considered one of the first modernists and postmodernists of our country. A well-known master of landscape and genre painting.

Mykola Glushchenko's landscapes are popular among European art collectors, he created more than 10,000 canvases. Up to fifty paintings by the artist were stored in the Kherson Art Museum.

If we talk about Felix Kider, then he is considered a master of a wide range, but he was most successful in graphics.

Unfortunately, such stories are not uncommon. However, there is a firm belief that all the exported works of art will return home.
