The history of the war in real time ... Project of the Kyiv publishing house "Salyutis" and the Museum of Grigory Galagan
Imagine that you are standing in front of a painting. You feel it. You understand what the artist wanted to "say", you interpret the author's idea.

And history unfolds before you. After all, every work of art has a meaning that its author wanted to convey. Share joy or pain. With your truth. A vision of reality.

The pain of losing one's home, loved ones, forced relocation - millions of Ukrainians face this today. People who tell their stories.
Stories of Ukrainian artists and their paintings, written in the first 111 days of the war with Russia from February 24 to June 14, 2022, is a project of the Kyiv publishing house "Salyutis" and the Chernihiv Art Museum. Gregory Galagan. This is the history of the war in real time, collected in one album "INVICTA".

You get acquainted with the works of artists who were forced to leave their homes, running away from the war, and you understand how much pain, anxiety and fear they contain. The paintings of Katerina Dudnik, Svetlana Leontieva, Natalia Shirant are saturated with this. And many, many other talented Ukrainian women.

But they have a firm belief that Ukraine will win. That people will return to their homes, rebuild the destroyed cities, continue to live a normal life.
Why are Ukrainians waiting for this album so much?

After reading the stories on the INVICTA website, having studied the works available in the electronic version, you understand that this is about now. This is the real story, no embellishment. This is the reality that the Ukrainian people see from the moment the Russian authorities decided that Ukraine needs a “Russian world”.
“Each story is a ready-made plot for the film, and some phrases are spinning in my head and won’t let go…”, these words belong to the People’s Artist of Ukraine, one of the most famous women in our country, Ada Rogovtseva.
The Ukrainian theater and film actress is not just the author of the annotation for the INVICTA album. The whole project was felt by Ada Nikolaevna to the very depths and from the first minute of acquaintance. Surely this was one of the reasons why she took him under her patronage.

Like any other Ukrainian project, INVICTA does not remain indifferent to the situation in our country. Therefore, most of the funds from the sale of this photo album will be transferred to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the restoration of the Museum. Gregory Galagan.
The album is on fire. I see how a woman's soul burns, how brushes and paints turn into weapons. I see the power of talent in the way artists absorb, transform and purify everything that surrounds them…” — Ada Rogovtseva.
Now the album with paintings by Ukrainian artists is already available for pre-order. And after 10-12 days, you will be able to feel the real stories conveyed through fine art in the printed version of the album.
In order to attract more attention to the project, its organizers decided to put up an album with paintings by Ukrainian artists on the Violity website.

Take the opportunity to purchase a book-album with the works of Ukrainian artists, each of whom told her story of the war. Contribute to our victory!
