Archival photographs and items once donated by the future founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, went under the hammer at one of the Boston auctions. They were put up for sale by the former girlfriend of the inventor, Jennifer Gwynn.
Among the lots were photographs of Elon Musk, taken at the home of Jennifer Gwynn's mother, and a greeting card signed by the future billionaire. But, the “former” Mask called jewelry made of 14-carat gold and a small emerald the most valuable item.
In total, the woman managed to earn 132 thousand dollars, which she plans to spend on the education of her stepson. A portion of this amount will be donated to a Southern California charity.
According to the former owner of the collection of photographs and personal items, Elon Musk, she did not expect to receive such an amount. I thought that photographs and other items would not cause any excitement among collectors. But after the first bids, I realized that these lots are not from the ordinary category.
How did Jennifer Gwynn get the things of the famous American inventor?
It is known that Jennifer and Musk were boyfriend and girlfriend while students at the University of Pennsylvania in the mid-1990s. However, the couple was forced to leave due to the fact that the family of the future billionaire moved to California when he graduated from high school.
