Almost 100 years ago, the first issue of the satirical magazine Krokodil was published, which for many years became the only all-Union satirical publication.

The filings of the magazine, symbolized by a red crocodile with pitchforks, were kept in many Soviet families, since the circulation in the publications reached 6.5 million copies.
