Striped wolf: photos of the Tasmanian tiger

The thylacine, which is also called the Tasmanian tiger, looked like a striped wolf and was a marsupial - a relative of the Tasmanian devil. The last Tasmanian tiger died in 1936, although there are unconfirmed reports that thylacines are still found in remote parts of Tasmania.
