The thylacine, which is also called the Tasmanian tiger, looked like a striped wolf and was a marsupial - a relative of the Tasmanian devil. Yes, because for more than 80 years, no one has seen representatives of this species. The last Tasmanian tiger died in 1936, although there are unconfirmed reports that thylacines are still found in remote parts of Tasmania.
