In 1945, the Second World War ended, and with it there was no need for a huge amount of military equipment. The surplus of combat vehicles was so large that some had to be disposed of, some eventually turned into scrap metal. Planes, tanks, ships, weapons - all this had to be stored somewhere, and there was not enough finance for support. Therefore, soon there were whole cemeteries of equipment that no one was watching. Of course, some things went for sale or re-equipment, but the losses were huge. These
photos show only a part of the equipment that was out of business.
