Dear Readers The items of jewelry that belonged to the ruling elites best characterize both the era and the people who set the direction for the development of society. In our last article, we demonstrated a masterpiece of jewelry brooches belonging to the military elite of the Gothic proto-state. Today we will present the pride of the gentry of the Commonwealth - Przeworsk Belt. This piece of jewelry came into fashion in the 16th century, in the 17th century there were mini-guilds of master jewelers who manually made belts for both eminent noblemen and ordinary gentry. These items are extremely popular in Poland, Ukrainian collectors also appreciate this heritage from the era when Ukraine and Poland were part of the same state - the Commonwealth.
