1. A good coffee pair with flute décor and the signature "Madelaine". Made by Edward Hutton, representative of the famous Sheffield manufactory William Hutton & Sons.
In 1800, William Hutton founded his company in Birmingham, but after 32 years he moved to Sheffield. William Carr Hutton and Herbert Hutton, William's son and grandson, continued his work. In the 1860s, the manufactory became famous and opened an exhibition hall in London. In 1870, Herbert's older brothers, James Edward and Robert, joined the family business. Prior to 1930, William Hutton & Sons acquired other silversmiths in London. In 1930, William Hutton & Sons went bankrupt and was bought by another well-known jewelry company, James Dixon & Sons.
