In Khmelnitsky region found a booby-trapped cache of propaganda leaflets OUN

Local historians Khmelnitsky in the village Podgornoe of Starokonstantinovsky village district was found hiding underground OUN.
It was a mined can with documents and personal things of underground workers. Near the hiding place there were 10 mines and grenades which were neutralized by pyrotechnics.
«Two streamers were two grenades at a depth of somewhere around 10 inches. Apparently, over time, the soil somewhere a little sprinkle of them, and mines lay in the direction of the hiding place»,— says local historian Vladimir Barchacky.
In the cache were propaganda leaflets, rebel magazines, underground papers, and their personal belongings.
«The main task for them was to promote, convey the ideas of independent Ukraine to the local population. They were engaged in distribution of leaflets, literature and, if they had weapons with them, only for self — defense», - said the Director of the Khmelnytsky regional literary Museum Vasily Gorbatyuk.
At the moment, the cache and its contents are in the Khmelnitsky literary Museum.
