In London, a failed attempt to steal Rembrandt's paintings

There was an attempted robbery at the Dalidge art gallery in London. Fortunately, all the works remained in the walls of the gallery, but the thief managed to escape. The attacker waited until late in the evening, and entered the hall, where the paintings of Rembrandt van Rijn, which was presented in the exhibition "Light of Rembrandt". The robber managed to remove two works of the master, but did not manage to take out them thanks to the security guard who prevented it. Splashing into the face of the gallery employee, the offender disappeared. The paintings selected for theft are not reported.

The exhibition "Light of Rembrandt" is timed to the 350th anniversary of the death of the painter. For the event, paintings from the Louvre, Berlin art gallery and other places were brought to London.
