100 UAH - 2007, Ostrog Bible

In support of education, he saw an opportunity for the emancipation of the Orthodox population of the territory of modern Ukraine, which, after the Union of Lublin, passed into administrative subordination from Lithuania to the Polish Crown. In the Ostroh school he founded, he prepared future personnel for positions in both the civil administration and the military hierarchy. The publication of the Ostroh Bible was an unprecedented event in the history of book publishing in Ukraine.
