A Ukrainian businessman is selling off his vintage car collection to help the Armed Forces
Many foreign countries, residents of these countries support our armed forces and people who are left in a difficult situation. However, the Ukrainians themselves do everything possible, and sometimes impossible, for this support. Ternopil businessman Taras Demkura is one of them - he has put up more than a dozen retro cars for sale, and the money from their sale will be used to help Ukraine.

This step is additionally impressive with the fullness of the collection itself — rare Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Lincoln.

However, Taras Demkura considers the Maybach four-door cabriolet to be the pearl of his collection. During the Second World War, a luxury car served Hitler's pond near Vinnytsia. When the German troops were retreating, one of the local residents took the abandoned car and hid it in his garage.
Another extraordinary car is a rare 1968 Jaguar XJ sedan, presented to Leonid Brezhnev by US President Richard Nixon. Two German cars from 1937 are very valuable — a Mercedes-Benz 540K roadster and an Opel Admiral sedan.

In the collection of Taras Demkura, you can see the convertible Wanderer W23 1936 and the American Lincoln. And, of course, the "representatives" of the Soviet automobile industry - "Zaporozhtsi", "Volga", "Moskvichi", ZIM, "Ural-ZIS". Most of the cars are running.

The Ukrainian businessman began collecting his collection in the early 90s. And a visit to an exhibition of retro cars in Paris was decisive in deciding on a hobby.

Most of the exhibits of Taras Demkura's collection were discovered and purchased in our country, and then restored. Now they will "help" the Armed Forces and the restoration of our country.
