For example, the flag to be raised near the Kyiv administration in 1990; the blue-yellow flag of 1988 from the Kyiv rally, which was given to the museum by the dissident Oles Shevchenko; flag from the polar station "Akademik Vernadskyi", space shuttle, yacht "Lelitka".
Some of these flags are related to the tragic events of the Russian-Ukrainian war, such as fragments of the Ukrainian flag from the television tower destroyed by the occupiers on Mount Karachun near Sloviansk; a flag from the Donetsk airport with the signatures of Ukrainian defenders; the flag of Ukraine, which volunteer Victoria Kononova rescued and took out of occupied Luhansk and others.
