The cap from the Neptune missile that sank Moscow is up for auction on Instagram
A unique artifact of the history of Ukraine - the cap from the anti-ship missile "Neptune", which was used to sink the cruiser "Moskva" in April 2022, is being auctioned to raise funds for the installation of a command post of one of the Ukrainian defense structures. This artifact carries historical weight as a symbol of the events that influenced the course of the Great War.
This cover has a special status, as it bears the autograph of the outstanding Hero of Ukraine and the head of the Luch design bureau, Oleg Petrovych Korostelev, under whose leadership the Neptune missile complex was created. At the same time, the artifact is presented in a special metal frame, which can be used for hanging on the wall or for preservation without damage.
An auction is currently being held, where the minimum bid step is 50,000 hryvnias, and the end of bidding is scheduled for September 19, 2023 at 9:00 p.m. It is important to note that after each bid, a 20-minute pause is expected before the end of the auction.
All collected funds will be directed to the arrangement of the command post of the Ukrainian defenders, with an approximate estimate of the project in the amount of 950,000 hryvnias. If the final rate exceeds this amount, the surplus will also be used to support the defense of Ukraine. The winner of the auction is guaranteed to receive a detailed and transparent report on the use of the collected funds.
