The porcelain figurine of a worker embroidering a banner is another interesting lot of Violiti's site. This is a very successful acquisition from the point of view of investments because of its value and rarity. The item was sold a week ago for $ 418.

Lot "Worker embroidering banner — LFZ" — a product of the Leningrad Porcelain Factory (LFZ) named after Lomonosov, made according to the model of 1920, the second anniversary issue — 1967. Its author is the sculptor Danko Natalia Yakovlevna, which is confirmed by a cut-out inscription based on "N. Danko 1920", the website reports.

According to the former owner of the figurine, the restoration of the product was not carried out. There was no need for this, since chips and cracks, as well as other defects were absent on it.

The few artistic works of the Soviet porcelain industry were mostly exported to the West, exhibited there and sold. Therefore, the campaign figurines of the 1920-1930s are extremely rare and valuable.

Propaganda porcelain was considered a “strong” art that could scream slogans and expose mistakes. Cozyly placed on dressers, cabinets and shelves, he was called upon to constantly clarify and remind.

In the propaganda figurines of the 1920-1930s, a magnificent artistic performance was traced. The novelty of forms and themes, juicy decorative painting, various inscriptions, textures and ornaments were noted.

Recall, Leningrad Porcelain Factory named after Lomonosov is the oldest in Europe and the largest in Russia enterprise for the production of porcelain art. It was founded in 1744 by decree of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna in St. Petersburg. At first it was called the Neva Porcelain Manufactory, from 1765 — the Imperial Porcelain Factory, and since 1917 — the State Porcelain Factory.

After nationalization in the 1920s, the plant received the name M.V. Lomonosov and reprofiled for the production of agitation china, which carries the spirit of the new era and revolution. In the postwar years, art began to revive in his products. Lomonosov porcelain participated in many international exhibitions and competitions, received prestigious awards. Since 2005, by decision of the shareholders, it again became known as the Imperial Porcelain Factory.
