The former owner called the collection of toys from the times of the USSR not just a lot, but a megalot. The reason for this was its scale.

Among the toys sold were rare and common exhibits - pedal cars, plastic toy soldiers, board games, rubber, clockwork and teddy bears, hares, cats.

Toys at all times have been a reflection of history. In Soviet times, they were a powerful lever in the upbringing of children. In the 1920s, they were produced in artels. These were mainly themed dolls - workers, pioneers, sailors, firefighters and postmen.

Since the 1930s, toy issues have already been resolved at the state level. Their production, distribution and ideological compliance were controlled by specialized committees. It was allowed to make children's dishes, cars, weapons, educational games and other things.

During the Second World War, the Soviet toy industry suffered serious damage. Dilapidated enterprises, personnel shortage. As a rule, only workshops at large factories worked.

In the 50s, attention was focused on toys that could form certain practical skills in children - sets "Young Technician", "Chemical Experiments", etc.

The heyday of the production of Soviet toys fell on the 70s. Achievements of the chemical industry have made it possible to supplant artificial fur and make colors more saturated and vibrant. Mass production of car models began, and with the development of television, there was a demand for toy cartoon characters.
